Back at it...

If you have been following on our Facebook page then you know that Levy and I are again working on recording the Tswana Bible as part of Project 10:17. The following are some stats from the project: Total number of books completed: 16 Total chapters completed: 508 Percentage of OT complete: 55% Percentage of entire Bible: 43% Average completed per week: 150ch Avg percentage of entire Bible: 13% Cost of one week of recording: R1500 or roughly $185 Weeks remaining to finish: 4-5 I would like to challenge you to prayerfully consider covering one week of recording. We are so close to seeing this project completed and the entire Bible becoming available to the Tswana people! Will you be a part of this awesome work?

What's new...

So here we are more than halfway through 2012 and I realize that we haven't updated our blog since the end of last year. This year has really flown by it seems. Just a few highlights have been the birth of our son Moses David in January(hard to believe he is already 7 months!), the completion of the addition for Agnes' house in Phokeng, we moved again in June to a house owned by our head pastor(a much better living space for our family especially since it is all one level), studies have continued for both Ang and I, I am now starting to get more and more opportunities to teach(YWAM Mauritius in November as well as in our home church here in Rustenburg). Over the next 7 weeks I will actually be teaching on two different courses in our home church, one called Foundation Stones which covers the foundations of the Christian faith as laid out in Eph. 2:20 and Heb. 6:1-2, the other is The Big Picture which looks at the story of redemption woven throughout the whole of scripture. ...
